The inauguration of the Ujala (Light) project was organized on Monday 4th of April 2022 in Goath village. We had gathered the people from our targeted villages at AtalsevaKentru.The main objective of this programme was to inaugurate the program and to explain about the objectives and activities of the Project Ujala.Having this idea, we had commenced the program by lighting of the lamp to invoke the presence of the Lord. Pradhan of Goath, JSKS Director Fr. Lakwin, Fr. Melwin (Guest of Honor), Sr. Benitta (Women Coordinator), Project team and Principal of the School were present for the programme. The team member of the Project welcomed all the people who had come for the programme. The project was inaugurated by Fr. Lakwin, Fr. Melwin and the Pradhan. Mr.Shivcharan the staff of Jsks explained in details about the service and achievements of JSKS in the last 15 years. Sr. Arul Mary (Coordinator) highlighted the aims, objectives, expected outcomes, and activities of the project. She also spoke about Italian Bishop Conference (CEI) the sponsor of Ujala. There was group song by the women of the village. Fr.Lakwin enlightened all the women how to remove darkness within and society through motivational story. He also motivated women to get empowered to wipe away the social evils existing in the villages and work for the development of the villages by entering into the mainstream of the society. The participants were happy about this program. The programme came to an end by distributing the refreshment to the participants.
