DONE BY THE ACTIVITIES FROM OCTOBER TO DECEMBER MONTH 2017

A. HIV/AIDS awareness program:

The programme which was held on 1st December 2017 organized a rally and Awareness Program on World AIDS Day at Govt. Schools in Dayalpura Village. A total of 85 students were participated in it. The Rally started soon after the briefing, the rally took place in a peaceful manner covering the main lanes and by-lanes of the village. The school students actively took part in the rally where all of them higher their slogans on HIV/AIDS, spread messages of AIDS.

Another awareness program on HIV/AIDS also organized in JSKS office on 2nd December 2017. The resource person explained about the concept of HIV/AIDS, mode of spread, how to keep safe of self and ways to prevent HIV/AIDS. Also mentioned to keep positive attitude towards HIV positive person. Shown a documentary film “Jara Si Galti” which is filmed on the story of HIV/AIDS patient. There were total of 40 Adolescent girls participated in the program.

Output:

  • School Students and local people were sensitised about HIV/AIDS.
  • 40 Adolescent Girls became aware about HIV AIDS.

B. Game activities such as skipping,Badminton,softball

This activities was conducted on three places namely Laxmipura (12.12.17), Bhateri (04.12.2017) and JSKS Dausa (22.12.17).A total of 135 adolescence girls were participate in it. The resource person was addressed explained the importance of games in their life. It helps to develop overall physical and mental development.

Counselling sessions and home visit to beneficiaries on family planning:

Family planning session were held in two villages namely Dayalpura and Badawa village on 21, 22 November 2017 with newly married couple. Total number of home visit were 10 and total no of participated couple were twenty. Sakhi Animators have taken the sessions and provided information that are mentioned below:-

  • Differences in children
  • Menstrual cycle
  • Vaccination
  • Government Schemes

 

Output

  • 10 new married couples acquired knowledge on family planning.
  • They have become aware about Government schemes i.e. Janani Sishu Suraksha Yojana, Subh Laxmi Yojana.

D. Basic and advanced computer training:

The basic computer course was inaugurated on 15th December 2017 at Bhateri village. Total of 23 Adolescent girls were enrolled their names in the computer course. Sakhi project coordinator Mr. Rajendra Sharma explained the importance of Computer in our daily life. The chief guest was Fr. Kishore director of JSKS Dausa.

Output:

  • 23 Adolescent girls are learning computer course.

Street play(Nukkad Natak):

Street play were conducted on 15, 19,20,22,23 December 2017 in 10 target villages namely Laxmipura, Badwa, Kanetha, Jhajhwad, Gokulwadi, Bhateri, Patan, Jogiwali, Dayalpura. 1135 people were Participants from all target village. . Street Play Team was mainly focusing on education and health, such a “Beti bachao Beti padhao” Nutrition Food and vaccination.

Output:

  • People were sensitized on health and girl child Education.
  • Participants got information on new Sakhi project.
