JSKS, Jaipur Diocesan Social Work Society is working for the underprivileged people especially men, women and adolescent Girls. They are struggling for their survival in the society. Most of the women and girls undergo gender discrimination since ancient time. Due to illiteracy and social taboos child marriage is common phenomena. Women have no role to take the decision in the family. Most of the adolescent girls either take care of their siblings at home or do the domestic work and animal rearing. Female foeticide and infanticide practices are there in some communities. Poor health services and lack of awareness on government schemes are the main cause of the high maternal mortality rate and high infant mortality rate in the community. They lack access to health facilities and other government schemes.
JSKS is working for the betterment of these deprived sections in all aspects through awareness generation for social transformation; giving equal opportunity of social, economical growth; giving human dignity by providing their rights and making them self reliant in the society.
