My name is Santosh Sharma wife of Papuram Sharma. I’m mother two daughters and a son, and I used be a stay- at- home. I ‘m from a poor back ground. Before the Prerna project was launched in Bhawni panchayat by Jeevandhara Samaj Kalyan Sanstha, I had no source of income. The project’s training sessions were a turning point for me. I was particularly inspired by all the skill trainings. The exposure visit to Rajghad introduced me too successful women entrepreneurs, and I realized I could do it too. With the courage I gained, I started a small shop at home, selling general and beauty products. Overcoming initial challenges, I’m now earning around. Rs.1500 per month. This new found financial independence has not only empowered me but has also significantly improved our family’s quality of life. I am immensely grateful to Jeevandhara and Manos Unidas for this incredible opportunity.
