This project was implemented with the help of Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP). JSKS involved implementing 3 schemes such as Sputum Collection, Transportation and adherence scheme. The Project was carried out in 25 villages of Bassi Block. There were DOT providers in each village who after identifying the cases, took care of the patients. The objective of this project was to control the spread of TB. There were number of positive cases identified and underwent treatment. Besides these, there were awareness programmes on this topic given to the target communities in the village through various means.
