The program on Cot making aimed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to construct cots, potentially leading to income generation or improved household furniture needs. The cot making training program for women has proven to be a successful initiative in equipping women with valuable skills and fostering potential income generation or improved home furnishings.We have organized a cot making proramme at Jakholash. We gathered all the interested women to learn the skill which enabled them to have standard life. The training started with the prayer and was followed by self-introduction of the participants. Mrs. Bharati Gowtham was the resource person for the training. We had this training for 20 days in these days the trainer taught explained in details the process and designs of cot. All the women attended the training and participated very actively and felt happy for this great opportunity. They were also shared that they will start to make cots for selling to get some income for them. They showed their gratitude to the Italian Bishop Conference for the kind of bringing these skill trainings to sustain their livelihood. The impact of the training program to help the women to earn some income to sustain their family in future.
