Shushila Raigar is a widow comes in SC community, resides in Village name Ahmadpur. Shushila lives with 6 children in small house. Shushila has altogether 7 children 4 girls and 3 sons out of 4 girls; eldest one daughter got married and gone to other village. Her husband died some time ago by long chronicle diseases. Lot of money spent on her husband’s illness nothing is left behind in house to surviProfileve with children. There is no ultimate livelihood to feed the bellies of 7 members in the family. She was worried and very upset.

One day Mr. Vijary Cluster coordinator from ANKUR Project has visited my house in his routine visit. I have shared with him my all problem of livelihood. He told me about the Government Scheme of widow pension but I heard first time for such scheme for poor widows. I took interest to hearing because that is the window opens way to survive. He helped me in whole procedure from form filling to submission to the concern department. One day Post man came to my house with message of sanctioned “widow pension” I have no word to express my joy but I am a grateful to ANKUR Project and Jeevandhara Samaj Kalyan Sansstha to sending their such employee, who helped me when I was in agony to suffer in misery battle of bellies of 7 seven member in family.
