Case Study
Water has been a major problem in the village Kherwal. The village women had to travel a lot to fetch the water for their daily needs. When this problem came to light during their Mahila Mandal meeting, JSKS staff initiated the process of application to the Pachayat. Then our animator along with the women of Mahila Manda met the Sarpanch submitted an application requesting for a new boar well. The application file was forwarded to the concerned persons. After waiting for about 6 months, finally they got a new bore well in their village with a good water supply.
