II. INTRODUCTION
This report has been prepared based on the project objectives, activities budget and based on the implementation, field experiences, consultation with the field staff during the review and evaluation meetings.
The animators and the coordinators under the guidance of the Director, the Programme Manager and the Women Coordinators during the review meeting helped in the process of evaluation, planning, report writing and documentation.
Information was gathered from the Daily Diary of the Animators, the Coordinators, the field observations, and the feedback from the target groups.
III.PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION STATUS:
A total of 398 home visits were carried out by the animators to the target villages. The outcome of the home visit revealed the status of child marriage in that particular village. During the regular home visits it was made sure by the animators that they explain about the side-effects of child marriage. They foccussed and highlighted on the symptoms and effects of child marriage. The animators also took the responsibility of motivating the parents of adolescent girls and encouraged them to support their ward and help them attain higher education. The society can be just only when girls are also educated at par with men. The home visits are an effective tool to check the loopholes in the society. Around 490 participants took part in it.
A total of 488 Group Meetings were conducted in 12 target villages between the months of April’2016 To March’2017. The Animators of ‘Healthy Sakhi’ spoke on various issues like Domestic Violence, Menstruation and physical changes in the body, Food & Flag, Government Entitlements, Reproductive Child Health (RCH) and Life Skills. They were highly enthusiastic in attending these meetings as they themselves understood the importance of it. They realized that its ‘they’ who are going to benefit out of it and no one else. This self-realization paved way to successful meetings. The girls feel themselves to be fortunate to receive knowledge on such vital issues. The group meetings were quite effective and helpful for both the animators and the beneficiaries. About 55% adolescent girls were participated in meetings.
A total of 4 meetings were conducted at school and Panchayat headquarters respectively. One Year. The programme got started with a nice welcome song and a brief introductory speech. Then Mr. Rajendra Sharma took over the session where he explained on the ways by which we can boost the social and psychological development of Adolescent Girls. The CBW’s were reminded about their individual roles & responsbilities towards a wholistic development of Adolescent Girls. Finally, Mr. Rajesh Meena, the sarpanch asked the PRI Members if they are cooperating with Sakhi Animators for the smooth running of the different programmes. They appreciated the activities of sakhi for Adolescent girls. Mr. Rajesh Meena once again requested the Community based workers to keep supporting and cooperating with the Sakhi Animators and make sure that the activities are effectively implemented. A total of 101 PRI members and teachers were present in the coordination programme.
Interaction sessions between women SHGs and Girls forum:
The interaction session between women SHG’s and adolescent girls were conducted on 25th June’2016 with SHG’s of Shakti Project from Jeevandhara Samaj Kalyan Sanstha at Heerapur village in Jaipur district. The session began with the welcoming of adolescent girls by Women’s groups followed by a prayer song. All the participants took turns in introducing themselves. Mr. Shiv Charan Sharma Field Coordinator of Shakti project provided some information on JSKS Projects. Mr. Rajendra Sharma Project Coordinator of Sakhi Project focused on the main objectives of that session. The SHG Leaders were given information on SHG process, helping each other, bank saving. Some girls were asked regarding the group loan and interest which were nicely answered by the SHG Leaders. Mrs. Mamta Saini Leader of an SHG gave a detailed explanation about the SHG Record & Documentation. Then the Adolescent Girls Group Leader gave information about Sakhi Project Activities such as Vocational Courses, Healthy Sakhi, Domestic Violence Act.2005, and workshop & Training programmes. A total of 19 Adolescent girls and 25 SHG Women were presented in it. It was an enriching experience for both the Adolescent girls and SHG Women.
A total of 8 classes were conducted on Menstrual System, Hygiene and “Knowing Our Body” program were conducted at village and office level respectively. Sakhi Animators and AWW’s were the resource persons for these sessions and training programs. The training modules and materials were made available to the participants during the training program. The documentary films based on health, hygiene were shown to the adolescent girls. There were also some group activities and games conducted which were related to the training. A total 195 adolescent girls actively participated in these programmes.
AIDS awareness programme
A total of 4 HIV/AIDS programme in the period of one year were conducted at office and Field Level. The Sakhi staff, AWW and Panchayat Sarpanch was the resource person in all these programmes on HIV/AIDS. The Awareness Rally, Documentary Film shows and Power Point presentations were shown in these programmes. These mediums were used effectively in communicating the information to the beneficiaries in a simple manner. One of the resource people was Mr. Prakash Meena who gave some information on HIV/AIDS. He also threw light on the history of AIDS, the various ways by which AIDS spread the signs and symptoms of AIDS, ways by which we can be careful and protect ourselves from getting infected by HIV /AIDS. Around 442 people participated in these programmes.
4 Triangular meet between parents, teachers and adolescent girls were conducted at Meethawas, Ramjipura and Tehtara village. The School management provided the venue and logistic arrangements for the meeting. A written permission for this session was taken from school prior to the start of these meetings. During these meetings the Adolescent Girls shared their problems related to education as it got clashed with housework load. Then in another session the resource persons explained on the importance of education among girls. In that session the parents complained to the school management committee regarding education of girls. They told that the teachers were not teaching the students properly. They did not pay attention towards weak students in the class. The teachers listened to them and provided solution to the problem. The Parents were advised to provide sufficient time and make sure that their children study at home. The school teachers also explained about some government scheme for girls. The School Teachers explained about the Government programs and schemes for adolescent girls. A total of 126participants were present in these meetings.
A total of 4Teachers’ Sensitization programme for equitable learning opportunities were conducted at Government schools .The School management provided venue and other arrangements for the session. The school Teachers proposed that we have to do something more in addressing the issue on Gender Sensitization. An open discussion was initiated the on development of girls with school teachers. The Teachers and Sakhi Team prepared an action plan for equitable learning opportunities. Around 47 teachers were present in the Teachers’ Sensitization programme for equitable learning opportunities. The programme was carried out quite meticulously.
A total of 5 networking programs with SSA, KGBV & PSS were conducted at the block level. Mr. Kailash Sharma B.O, Mr. Ramesh Meena, Brijmohan R.P of Bassi Block office was the resource persons in these networking programs. The Government Teachers were informed about the importance of Girl child education and the need of their enrollment. A lot of information on education and other government programmes were shared by all the resource persons. Around 68 All Staff and Teachers were present in these meetings.
A total of 11 domestic violence trainings were conducted at office and field level. The aim and importance of the programme was highlighted by Sakhi staffs. The Domestic Violence Act 2005 was briefly explained to the beneficiaries. The Sakhi staffs explained that violence against women occurs in 4 forms namely: 1. Physical violence, 2. Gender based violence, 3. Emotional violence, 4. Financial violence. The Resource persons for these trainings were District Magistrate, Advocate and Sakhi staffs. The modes of communicating vital information on domestic violence were PPT’s, Documentary films and group activities. Domestic Violence Act 2005 was explained in detail to the adolescent girls. During these training sessions materials were provided to the beneficiaries such as note books, pens and handouts. It was found from the feedback session that most of the girls had understood the repercussions of Domestic Violence Act, 2005. They came to know about the laws that protect the victim of domestic violence. Around 316 adolescent girls actively participated in these trainings on Domestic Violence.
A total of 2 workshops were conducted on property right at JSKS Training Centre and target villages. Mrs .Kshama Tripathi From PSS Jaipur and Sakhi Staff were resource person in it. The topics dealt in these workshops were Equal right to Fathers’ property according to Hindu Marriage Act, Muslim Marriage Act, 1955, Widow Law, Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act, 1956. The resource persons emphasized on the protection of women and the laws that govern them. At the end of each workshop on Property Rights group exercises were conducted on a regular basis through chart paper making and presentation in front of the entire group. Around 46 adolescent girls were present in these workshops. They gained a lot of knowledge about property rights and laws that abide them. They became alert and decided to raise their voice if they are exploited.
Exposure Visits to Post Office, Bank, Police Station, and Family Court, AWC etc: An exposure visit of Adolescent girls from different villages of the project area was held on 21st October. 2014. There were 37 adolescent girls as participants for the visit. During the Exposure Visit they got chance to visit the police station, the bank etc. The main purpose of the exposure visit was to orient the adolescent girls with a minimum knowledge regarding the above institutions. The exposure began with visiting the police station of Bassi Block. Mr. Sushil the ASI gave an orientation filing an FIR; the Police help Line, the women desk and complete process and functions of the police station. Our second visit was of the UCO banks of the Bassi Block, where Mr. R.D Meena, the Manger of the bank oriented the visitors with complete process from form filling up to opening an account and transaction of the amount, he also shared complete functions of the Bank.

Total of Eight Jago Sakhi programmes were conducted at District and Field level. The resource persons who attended these programmes were M.LA Mr Shamkar Lal Sharma, Block Pradhan Mr. Ganesh Sharma, PRI members, AWW, other NGO’s and media persons in these programmes. A detailed programme with agenda, invitation for government officers and other departments were prepared. Advertisement was done prior to the programme through visual and print media. Our organization made sure that the facilities such as seating, stage, refreshments were done much in advance. The resource persons gave valuable information on government schemes and programs. The organization handed over vocational certificates , Prize for Swasth Kishori Pratiyiogita Winners during the International Women’s Day program on 8th March’2017. About 2770 adolescent girls including women took part in these programmes.
The Sakhi Team conducted a total of 9 workshops on How to file an FIR? How to open a bank account? How to file RTI? The resource persons were Sakhi and JSKS staffs. The resource persons gave information and knowledge on how to file an FIR? A brief introduction on RTI, in which year it came into existence, how to file an RTI, its benefits and other information’s related to RTI was shared among the participants. The animators also educated the group on the benefits of RTI Act, 2005. How to open a bank account and how to file RTI? The Adolescent girl’s practical session for filing FIR and RTI was done in a systematic way. They presented their group work of filing FIR and RTI. The Adolescent girls obtained knowledge and information of FIR. The workshop was very informative and it benefited the participants to a great extent. Around 241 Adolescent girls actively took part in these workshops.
The Sakhi Team in the span of 1 year has conducted 13 Life Skill sessions & Behavior Modification sessions. These sessions were conducted at Government schools in the target villages. Prior permission was acquired from H.M to conduct these trainings and sessions. The School management provided training hall and support from teachers. The programmes used to begin with a prayer and introductory speech. It was followed with explanation of the objectives of the session by Mr. Rajendra Sharma, Sakhi Project Coordinator. The resource persons for these sessions were Mr. Abhishek and Kshama Tripathi. They asked the adolescent boys to change their attitude and behavior towards the adolescent girls and to create a gender balanced environment at home and in the society as well. They had to change their outlook and attitude towards the opposite gender. During each sessions group activities were conducted for adolescent boys with the theme – ‘Next step for behavior modification’. The adolescent boys promised to maintain a positive thinking and help their homes and society. A total of 441 adolescent boys actively took part in all these sessions.
Training on gender distinction (Biological and Psychological):
A total of 4 trainings were conducted on gender distinction at Maliyon ki Dhani, Govt.School Jatwara and Khedlawas villages. The resource persons for these trainings were Mr.Abhishek Mondal Program Coordinator of JSKS & Mrs. Kshama Tripathi from PSS Jaipur. They gave a detailed explanation on physical, mental and emotional changes that take place during the adolescent age. They also emphasized on moral values and the need for more concentration on their studies. They also highlighted on gender biasness showing it to be a curse in the community. Mr. Rajendra Sharma explained on the Gender and Sex Education Ratio in Rajasthan. He motivated the adolescent boys to change their attitude and behavior towards the adolescent girls and to create a gender balanced atmosphere at home and the society at large. 108 Adolescent Boys were present.
A total of 41Peer Exchange programmes for better communication were conducted at JSKS training centre and district level. The venue and time schedule was decided by the adolescent girls. The Adolescent girl helped in preparing a detailed plan by JSKS staff. They were exposed to English, computer and stitching classes. They shared knowledge and information among themselves. The adolescent girls asked some questions pertaining to the courses. Each girl shared their experiences related to behavior, environment and relationship. The girls shared about the vocational courses and how they got benefitted out of it. They also shared their knowledge on Health and education schemes, Jyoti Yojna, Palanhar Yojna, Balika Sambhal Yojna and Scholarships. It was found from the feedback session that most of the girls understood the concept of peer exchange through sharing of knowledge, schemes and individual experiences. Around 932 Adolescent girls were participated in these peer exchange programmes.

A total of 11Pre-Marital and Post-Marital Counseling was conducted at office & Field Level. The participants were adolescent girls who came to attend the programme. The field animators provided their valuable inputs on pre-marital stage. During this pre-marital counseling session emphasis was laid on 2 aspects viz best character and moral life. At the end of each session a small group discussion was carried out. The day’s session was taken over by the field animators who provided their valuable inputs on pre-marital stage.
Then the sessions on post-marital counseling had 3 important elements which were highlighted namely good behaviour, the ability to take decisions and positive thinking. The participants were quite happy and satisfied with the training as they got enlightened by the importance of pre and post marital counseling. Around 208 adolescent girls actively took part in the Pre-Marital and Post-Marital Counseling.
Training on Kitchen Garden:
The training programme on Kitchen Garden was conducted at Madanpura village on 28th July’2016. The training began with a devotional prayer followed by an introductory speech. Then, Mr.Rajendra Sharma- Project Coordinator of Sakhi Project highlighted on the importance of Kitchen Garden. The resource person for the day was Mr.Vinod Sharma from the Agriculture Department. He went on to share important information on Kitchen Garden and emphasized on its utility. All the adolescent girls were encouraged to make their own kitchen garden at their backyard and enjoy the benefits of it. The vegetable seeds kit was distributed to all the participants. A total of 26 adolescent girls very enthusiastically participated in the kitchen garden training.
A total of 8 trainings were organized on “Food and Flag” for upgrading Adolescent Girls health condition at Field Office and JSKS Training Hall. Mrs. Renu Sharma from Pariwar Seva Sansthan and Sakhi staff were the resource person in these trainings. The Sakhi Animators very nicely highlighted on the aims and importance of Food, the role of vitamins and proteins required for a healthy human body. The animators also stressed on the importance of hygiene and nutritious food. The prime focus was given on green leaves and iron rich food. Most of the adolescent girls were well oriented and they understood the importance of Nutritious Food. They also learnt about a healthy diet and exercise to keep themselves physically and mentally fit.They were given information on nutrition and food. Adolescent girls prepared a chart paper by group exercise and also presented their charts in front of the entire group. At the end of these trainings some adolescent girls raised a few questions related to nutrition food. Adolescent girls had games towards the end of the programme. Around 213 adolescent girls actively took part in the trainings.
Swastha Kishori Pratiyogita:
Two Swastha Kishori Pratiyogita was conducted at JSKS Training Hall.The resource person for the programme was Mr.Abhishek Mondal, Programme Coordinator, and JSKS. The resource person took a session on health, hygiene, healthy food and balanced diet. He also conducted group games to hold their interests in the topic. Then a quiz on general health was conducted with the help of Sakhi Team members who divided the participants into 5 groups. In this session there were 3 rounds with bonus round and negative marking for wrong answers? A total of 50 questions were put forward to all the 5 groups. At the end of the quiz Group No.1 emerged victorious while Group 3 emerged joint 2nd. A total of 90 adolescent girls actively took part in this competition.
The training was provided on healthy cooking at Khedlawas village. The Sakhi Team explained on the importance of healthy cooking. The Sakhi Animators was the resource person-cum-trainer for the healthy cooking workshop. The members of Sakhi Team took turns in educating the adolescent girls on the importance of healthy cooking. They promised to try out the dishes at home. They enjoyed the programme as it was helpful for them. They liked the whole idea about healthy cooking because it was nutritious, healthy, tasty and cost effective. Around 30 Adolescent Girls actively participated in the training on healthy cooking. Daily 2 hours were spent on training the girls to cook healthy and tasty food.

1.Dal Palak Sabji, 2. Lauki ka Halwa, 3. Lauki ka Kheer, 4. Plalak Ka Soup, 5. Palak Pakora, 6. Palak Juice, 7. Bajare ke Laddu, 8. Bajare Parathe, 9. Namak Para, 10. Bajara Pakoudi, 11. Poha, 12. Bajra Mathari, 13. Lauki Ka Raita, 14 Palak Roti 15. Lauki Kofta .
The advance stitching course on embroidery and crosier was conducted in 2batches at 2different target villages namely Tehtara, and Gothara. A survey of the poor and needy girls was conducted by the Sakhi staff. The Adolescent Girls were motivated to enroll in this stitching course. The application forms were prepared and got them filled by the girls. The professional instructor for this stitching course was Mrs. Savita Saini. The training machines and materials were provided by JSKS to the vocational centers. A total of 61 Adolescent girls attended the advance stitching course on embroidery and crosier in the centre. The instructor used to train the girls in the art of embroidery and crosier for two hours daily.
The training programme on Basics of Computer was conducted in 2 batches at 2 different target villages namely girdharwas & Nayawas villages. A survey of the poor and needy girls was conducted by the Sakhi staff. The Adolescent Girls were motivated to enroll themselves in the training on computer basics. The application forms were prepared and got them filled by the girls. The computer instructors for this training course were Ms. Guddi Rajpoot & Mamta Jat. The computers and other related materials were provided to the center by JSKS. The instructor taught computer two hours daily. A total of 34 Adolescent girls took part in the basic computer course.
In a span of 1 year 5 Community Exchange Programs were conducted at the field and office level. The PRI members and VMV members were present in these programmes. The Sakhi staff prepared a plan for these programmes on adolescent girl’s village development. A documentary film was shown on social issues. There were discussions and meticulous planning for adolescent girls’ development. There were suggestions given in the form of new ideas for education and vocational courses of Adolescent Girls. Around 116participants were present in these programmes.
The inauguration of a beautician course was held on 23rd December 2015 at Dudhali Talai village. Mr. Rajendra Sharma, the coordinator of Sakhi Project explained on the importance of beauty which includes grooming. The innuagration programme started off with a nice Prayer followed by a brief introduction from Roli Tilak, a PRI Member. The PRI members tried to motivate the adolescent girls and wanted them to attend the training on a regular basis. Mrs. Sakshi Sharma, an instractor of beautician course took time in explaining the rules of the entire training program. The program came to a conclusion with distribution of refreshments to all the participants. A total of 20 adolescent girls participated in that course.
The Healthy Sakhi training was conducted on 20th July’2016 at JSKS Training Hall. The training began with a beautiful prayer song. The resource person who introduced the topic briefly. She explained about the physical changes that take place when a girl reaches the adolescent stage. The next topic on which she educated the participants was RCH (Reproductive Child Health) post which a group exercise was initiated where an open discussion was encouraged. Mrs.Kshama Tripathi also stressed on nutritious diet and pointed out the vitality of a healthy food regime. Another important aspect of the training was vaccination (tetanus, pre-pregnancy and post-pregnancy vaccination) which was again led by a open discussions. In this session she threw light on the various ways by which an individual can get infected by AIDS virus and the different prevention or curative methods to taken care of. After this session some games were conducted to break the monotony of the participants. Then the next session was based on the government schemes and policies that are laid down for the beneficiaries. Then Mrs.Renu laid emphasis on the importance of their roles and responsibilities as healthy Sakhi. A total of 20 healthy Sakhi members participated in the 1 days training programme.
Exposure Visit for Healthy Sakhi’s :
An exposure visit was conducted for Healthy Sakhi’s on 22nd and 23rd July’2016 at Disha, RCDSSS Ajmer. Its main objectives were to enhance the level of information and knowledge of the Healthy Sakhi’s. Mr. Krishna Arora, Project Coordinator of RCDSS took the girls to their office and introduced them to all their office staffs. Next they went to one of the Sakhi project village named Ramsar. On reaching the village all the Healthy Sakhi’s were welcomed by Roli Tilak. Next, an interactive session was carried out where all the Healthy Sakhi’s gave their introduction. The RCDSS Healthy Sakhi’s provided valuable information to the JSKS Healthy Sakhi’s through chart paper presentation on 2 different topics namely Menstrual System and Food & Flag. They also shared their knowledge on first-aid, vaccination, iron tablets to pregnant women and adolescent Girls. On the other hand JSKS Healthy Sakhi’s provided useful information about the way of work in their areas. There were 2 adolescent girls belonging to JSKS Healthy Sakhi group who shared their testimonies. One of them was Ms. Guddi Rajput who was a healthy Sakhi member as well as computer instructor shared her experience of teaching computer. The other girl was Ms.Anokhi Bairwa who shared about her powerful speech on ‘Save the Girl’ at a gathering in Bajrang Maidan on the occasion of International Women’s Day. One of the chief guests was so impressed by her speech that she awarded a cash prize of Rs.500/- to this young girl.
Poster exhibitions on issues relevant to the project. The poster exhibition on issues like gender disparity, child marriage and health were conducted on 15th March 2017.. The participants were divided into 4 groups. Mr.Rajendra gave 4 themes to the 4 groups. The themes were chosen via lottery method. All the team members were happy with their themes. The Programme Coordinator, Mr.Abhishek initiated the group activity by requesting each group to choose a team leader and encouraged active participation of all the members. A time was provided to complete the activity and then the team leader of each group came forward and presented their work. The best Group No.3 emerged 1st. The day was well celebrated.

Health Exhibition
The much awaited Health Exhibition was conducted on 6th March’2017 at JSKS. The entire programme was conducted by Sakhi Staff headed by one of the Mrs.Bindu Rao. The programme started with a spiritual prayer. The resource persons were Mr. Prakash Meena (Lab Technician, and Mrs. Meena (ANM) from Badwa PHC. The Sakhi Team highlighted on the Materials of Health.
A Swastha Kishori Shivir was organized on 6th at JSKS Training Centre, Dausa. The programme started with a nice prayer to invoke god’s presence. The Resource persons were Mr. Prakash Meena (Lab Technician) and Mrs. Meena (ANM) from Badwa PHC. The Director of JSKS conducted a free test on hemoglobin. Around 60 Adolescent girls from the four villages namely Khedlawas, Gadholi, Maliyon ki Dhani and Nayawas participated in this health camp. Out of 60 adolescent girls 55 adolescent girls underwent the blood test. The tests revealed that 10 adolescent girls were suffering from anemia. The anemic adolescent girls were given Iron & Vitamin syrup. Some adolescent girls took courage in sharing their personal problem with the ANM. The ANM told them about the identification of problems and its solution through proper treatment. A total of 35 adolescent girls took part in the Swastha Kishori Shivir.
The family planning session for newly married couples was conducted on 15th Sept’2016 at Atal Seva Kendra, Jatwara. The resource persons for the day’s programme were Mrs.Kshama Tripathi and Mrs.Renuka Bhatnagar from Pariwar Seva Sansthan, Jaipur. The programme began with a welcome song and an introductory speech. Then the resource persons shared information on the following points:
1. Menstrual cycle
2. How makes the child in the mother’s womb
3. instrument of Family Planning
4. Differences in children
5. Vaccination
6. RCH
7. Govt. Schemes
On this occasion were also present Shri. Kishan Meena, Sarpanch of Jatwara Panchayat, Mr. Amar Singh- Secretary and Mr. Puspendra Choudhary- Panchyat Samiti Member. They motivated the newly married couples to go for a proper family planning. A total of 40 participants were presented in the programme.
Other Activities :
The UKSVK Programme Officer came for a monitoring visit of Sakhi Project activities on 3,4 september 2016& 22,23 February’2017. After the welcome ceremony the project documents were verification. Then Ms.Jenney Kujur& Ms. Chinme, the Asociate Coordinator of UKSVK visited those villages where the different project activities were going on. She visited according to the JSKS Monitoring Agenda . MRGT & Training Programme by UKSVK Agra:
This MRGT programme was organized by UKSVK, Agra on 30th, 31st Aug’2016 & 7-10February 2017 at JSKS Training Hall and Pastoral Center Agra . The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and prayer song. There were a total of 40 participants who came from 12 diocesan social work centers of UP, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. All the 12 Social Work Centers presented their six months report of Sakhi Project. After the presentation there were some queries made by the participants that came up to the concerned partners. The discussions were carried out in a peaceful manner. The UKSVK team highlighted some points for improvement of the report and activities. The training came to a conclusion with joyful ending of learning and sharing.
Literacy Day Celebration:
The Literacy Day was celebrated on 8th September with the students of Government School at Ramjipura village. On this occasion Sakhi Staff organized a Rally programme alongwith school students to raise awareness on ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’. Mr.Rajendra Sharma briefly explained the importance of literacy. Soon after the briefing the rally took place in a peaceful manner covering the main lanes and by-lanes of the village. The school students actively took part in the rally where all of them shouted slogans on promoting education for children spread the message of literacy. Around 84 students took part in the awareness rally.
Participation in Swacch Bharat Campaign:
A campaign on Swacch Bharat Mission was organized by Sakhi Staffs on 29th September’2016 at Kiro ki Dhaani, Madanpura village. The campaign began with Prabhat Pheri stopping people who go for open defecation. Then an awareness rally was conducted in Madanpura village under Hansmahal Panchayat. The rally was flagged off by Mr. Ramkaran Meena, Sarpanch of Madanpura village. Mrs. Indra Sharma, Sakhi Animator was present in the programme. The awareness rally covered the main lanes of the village. The students of Madanpura Government Primary School actively participated in the rally. They shouted slogans on keeping the surroundings clean avoid throwing waste in open and most importantly construct toilet. The rally was a part of Swacch Bharat Mission- ‘Ek kadam swacchata ki aur.’ Around 120 people participated in this awareness rally including students, parents, government teachers, elders and ANW members.

Christmas Celebration Program :
JSKS organization conducted a Christmas Celebration on 22nd December 2016 at JSKS Training Hall. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and prayer. All the guests were welcomed by Sister Ranjana. A beautiful crib was made to welcome baby Jesus in the midst of all who were present at the Christmas gathering. 1155 members had attended the Street play film show.
Points and Issues covered through Street play education and schemes, domestic violence act, gender equality, Sanitation. People have become aware about the social evils such as child marriage, domestic violence, health issues etc.
Poster exhibitions on issues relevant to the project: One Poster Exhibitions programme conducted at the JSKS Dausa 45 participants were present. All the participants ware prepared the poster which was related to Domestic Violence, Beti Bacchao Beti Padhao, Food& Flag Child Marriage, etc. Participants became aware on project Issues.
Adolescent girls were improved their knowledge & Information
Community exchange program: Five Community Exchange Programs were conducted at, field and Office Level. PRI members & VMV Members were present in these programs 116 participants were there. They were helped and provided the services in the activities. VMC Members were sensitized to Adolescent & Village development.
Challenges:
Electricity cut was a big problem in computer center
We conducted training and programme for adolescent girls but there were a few of them. So we changed the strategy plan.
Concluding Remarks:
There was regular field visits by the coordinator to monitor the ongoing activities conducted by the Animators and field visits by the Director, Programme Manager and women coordinator to monitor the activities and events planned in the program. A review meeting of the staff is organized once in a month to review and evaluate the program and to give feedback based on the field visits and activity.
75% rate of success and failure rate was of 25% in achieving the programmed.

More involvement of the Government staff and other NGOs.

The Project will enable the girls to be economically self reliant through skill Training Program. Their improved educational status will enable them to enjoy better living standard and improved social status .A healthy generation and safe motherhood will be ensured through health programmes. The project also will enable them to take better participation in social activities and decision making in the family and society. It will also enable them to look at the future with confidence.
