In the village called Salarpur, the new list was made for food security schemes in 2015. In that list the names of a few villagers were not 
found. So the people went to ration dealer and asked for the rations as usual. The dealer told them that their names have been removed from the list and would be added in the APL list. In order to redress the situation the people conducted a public meeting in the village. In that meeting the SC/OBC members of the village decided to lodge a complaint against the ration dealer. Our cluster coordinator motivated the people to meet the SDM. Accordingly, the people went and met the SDM and told him about the problem and asked him to do the needful to provide them with wheat and Rice. The SDM took immediate action by giving order to the officials concerned. Those officials concerned went to the village and conducted the public meeting. Through that meeting the officials came to know for the past 5 months, 60 people did not get any ration. The officials promised to provide ration. Accordingly, at the end of present month they received their benefits. We thank the Ankur team for the guidance.
